Inc. magazine today ranked ETS International as the fastest growing limousine company in the Northeast on its sixth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.
ETS International, with offices in Providence and Randolph, MA, took the honors as a result of seeing its revenues surge from $51,000 in 2006, to $5.3 million through 2011, with 2012 revenues projected at 7 million.
“In looking back on the past five years, ETS president John M. Greene stated, “When we started ETS in 2006, we had the goal to become a leader in the industry through slow and steady growth, fueled by staying on the cutting edge of technology, and expanding our corporate footprint through key acquisitions. And with this recognition from the leading business publication in the country, I believe we have accomplished our mission.”
In a stagnant economic environment, the companies on this year’s Inc. 500/5000 list report having created over 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.
"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward.” says Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg. “Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is.”
The 2012 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2008. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2011.
ETS International operates a fleet of luxury sedans, SUVs, limousines and executive vans in the Boston, Manchester, NH and Providence, RI area, as well as a global network that services cities around the world.
ETS International recently received the 2011 Image Award from Limo Digest magazine and John Greene was named the 2011 Sustainer Award winner by The Lupus Foundation. To learn more about ETS International, go to www.etsintl.net.
