West Warwick, RI – Cox Communications will be opening a new Solutions Store at 1224 North Main Street in Providence on November 12. This will coincide with the closing of the existing retail location at 50 Houghton Street.
The last day for business at the Houghton Street location is November 11.
Although Cox allows customers to pay their bills via U.S. mail, phone, the web, or directly from bank accounts, many choose to conduct these transactions in person at Cox retail locations. Beginning on November 12, bill payments and all other transactions will take place at the new Cox Solutions Store on North Main Street.
Customers who have visited the Houghton Street location to pay bills within the past 3 months will be notified via postcard and phone call of the new store location in Providence.
Cox Solutions Stores offer an updated and more personal customer experience, longer hours, and a more convenient location for most Providence-area customers. All of Cox’s services will be on display for customers to touch and feel while learning about the various features. The modern and open floor plan allows Solutions Specialists to handle billing questions and technical issues in the Customer Care area, sell Cox products and accessories like HDMI cables, accept payments, and issue equipment on the sales floor. Solutions Educators are available to show customers how to take full advantage of their services in the Learning Lounge.
There is signage in both locations detailing the closing of the Houghton Street location and the opening of the new Solutions Store on North Main Street. A grand opening event for the Solutions Store will take place on December 10.
